Privacy Policy

How we handle data across our apps, software, and website.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 01/01/2025

At Khalil AppDev, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use our apps, software, and website — and how that information is used.

By using our services, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We build two broad types of products:

Apps for kids (educational & learning)

For children-focused apps, we do not ask for personal information such as names, emails, or phone numbers. Some third‑party tools (for example Google Analytics, Google AdMob, and Google Play Console) may still collect non‑personal usage data for analytics, stability, and ad delivery.

General apps & software

Depending on the product, we may collect:

  • Information you provide (optional): email address (only if you voluntarily contact us or create an account), plus preferences or feedback you submit.
  • Technical / usage data: device type, OS version, app events (features used), IP address and approximate location, and basic diagnostics.
  • Third‑party data: analytics/ad platforms may collect data under their own policies.

Cookies

Our website may use cookies to improve browsing. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Maintain security and prevent misuse.
  • Understand usage patterns to enhance features.
  • Provide analytics and ads through services like Google Analytics and Google AdMob (where applicable).

We do not sell or rent personal information for marketing, and we do not process payments or collect financial details on this website.

3. Children’s Privacy

We take children’s privacy seriously. Our kids apps are designed to comply with the Google Play Families requirements and relevant privacy laws (including COPPA and GDPR principles).

  • No personal data collection: we don’t intentionally collect sensitive or identifying data from children under 13.
  • Third‑party services: if analytics/ads are present, they are configured to follow Families policies.
  • Ads: we avoid interest‑based (behavioral) advertising in children-directed experiences.
  • Parental protection: features that may open external links or share information are avoided; when needed, we use parent gates.

If you believe we accidentally collected personal data from a child, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

4. Data Storage & Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access or misuse. No online system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can often manage data preferences through your Google account settings and device privacy controls.

5. Third‑Party Services

Our apps and website may rely on third‑party providers for analytics, advertising, and distribution, including:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google AdMob
  • Google Play Console

These providers may process data under their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies for details.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page and the effective date will be revised.
